To facilitate experience sharing and to promote development on building services engineering between the Mainland and Hong Kong SAR, CIBSE-HKB, HKIE-BSD, and ASHRAE-HKC have jointly organized symposiums in Beijing, Shanghai, Heilongjiang, Anhui, Changsha, Liaoning, Fujian, Tianjin, Xi’an, Chongqing, Qingdao, Shenyang, Wuhan, Chengdu, Taiyuan over the past years. 

This year, three institutions jointly organized the event with the Department of Building Environment and Energy Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Hong Kong two-day symposium with professional bodies in Kunming, Yunnan Province, China (云南省昆明市) on 1 & 2 July 2024. The theme of the symposium is “Towards Carbon Neutrality".
